Thirtysomething Paula lives like a crazy teenager. Nothing in her life lasts longer than some months: no job, no residence and no man. Although she is a caring and open-minded mother, her daughters Fidelia, 15, and Lisa, 12, can't stand the permant moves any more. After another disastrous relationship they settle down in Landshut and try to start a new life again. While Lisa find friends soon, Fidelia, who dresses like a grandmother to protest against her unconventional mother, is more reserved, but finally falls in love.
