If a woman in the village becomes pregnant, it is customary to cook Pongal and sacrifice a goat to their family deity, which is located in the middle of a large forest nearby. Now the heroine of the story is nine months pregnant. As per the tradition, the family travels to the temple. However, the forest area surrounding the temple is known for many anti-social activities.
