Biography

Guelan Varela-Luarca is a Filipino writer. In 2024, he was nominated for Best Screenplay for Boy Golden: Shoot to Kill at the FAMAS Awards. His most recent original story, Mag-iina, won Best Screenplay and Best Film at the 22nd Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival.
